Hydra Skull Octopus

The Skull Octopus represents to me the way that some humans bow to the insidious nature of greed, with no regard to how it affects our environment.
The Lernaean Hydra, more often known simply as the Hydra, is a serpentine water monster in Greek and Roman mythology. Its lair was the lake of Lerna in the Argolid. Lerna was reputed to be an entrance to the Underworld.
It had poisonous breath and blood so virulent that even its scent was deadly (very much like how we pollute our atmosphere and oceans).
The Hydra possessed many heads, for every head chopped off, the Hydra would regrow two heads. Greed and love for money are contagious. The Hydras of this world can never amass enough wealth - the reason why I depicted the Skull Hydra weeping tears of gold.
