Antelope, cow, bull Images with Sun or Moon

The cow, bull or antelope, with a Sun (or Moon) between itís horns, is an ancient and recurring theme used by many different cultures, dating back to Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greek, Roman times to modern day.

This imagery originated as a fertility deity connected to agriculture and the renewal of life and predates the ancient Egyptian Goddess Hathor, Goddess of the sky, dance, love, beauty, joy, motherhood, music and fertility.

The porcelain necklace pendants are individually meticulously hand crafted - some made using the Nerikomi technique, then typically fired four to five times - some with under glaze and 18ct gold lustre.

The pendants are then combined with hand made brass spiral disks from Benin made by using "the lost wax" casting method and other authentic African and antique trading beads on a leather thong.
